Commission process

Concerning the inquiry:

Inquiries will be answered as soon as possible (timezone difference) if my commissions are open. If, in the meantime, all commission slots are filled, slot reservations can be arranged for future commissions.

A picture of the character design must be included. My job here is to be an illustrator, not a character designer. Inquiries asking for character design or reference sheet will automatically be declined.

In your inquiry, please provide the following informations:
Name of your character(s) and universe ;Age (in appearance), ethnicity or specie, sex or gender, body type ;Character design, the most up-to-date versions (I will follow only the references provided by you) and color palette ;Noticeable details such as freckles, horns, tattoos (etc.) ;Outfit, can be described in a collage or moodboard ;Pose and expression for the commissions.
For image references, a maximum of 10 images is requested.*
*(For full illustrations, further references may be discussed)

Sending the inquiry :

I will only consider inquiries sent via email. If asked via messages on social websites, I will only redirect you here.

Contact me via [email protected]. A direct link to the address is available in the Home page of this website.

While sending your inquiry, put the commission you ask for in your email object (ex. 'bust lineart commission') and include reference images.

Pricing:

I should answer shortly after with an estimation of the price, which I will request a confirmation with you before sending a Paypal inquiry.

Note that prices may vary, depending on the difficulty of the subject or additional content such as extra characters or gore/nudity. Contact me for discussions on possible extras in your inquiry.

Further payment informations are available in the 'Payment' category of the Terms of Service.

The commission itself:

All commissions are delivered in HD quality (300dpi) and will begin after I received the upfront payment via Paypal.

Process shots are sent regularly via email to make sure you are happy with the piece. Depending on the complexity, the illustration can take from one week to two months. The final result is provided via email.

As the artist, I request that you, as the commissioner, point out major changes during the sketching process of the artwork as I will not redo the entire illustration halfway through rendering. Please, do not abuse your right to request changes.

A confirmation after each stage of the drawing will be requested, that includes:
Sketching and thumbnailing | Pose and composition changes, accessories modifications, outfit rework. If there are no changes from you, these elements will be definitive ;Lineart | Details such as facial features or minor accessories can be discussed for changes, however the weight of the line itself is definitive right from the start. The lineart past that stage is final and will not be changed, even if you applied for a rendered version of the artwork ;Coloring | Skin details such as freckles, scars, beauty marks or blush can be manipulated. As requested prior, a color palette must be provided by you for me to take references from for the character. Different versions can be made only if they don't include major differences such as redoing an entire leopard pattern on a dress ;Shading | The ambiance will follow your description of the scene or mood . Past that stage, I will not rework on the commission and consider the artwork done.
The final product:

The definitive version of the artwork will be provided via email in a .png format with a 300dpi resolution and an approximate minimum of 1920*1080 pixels (depending on the artwork ratio).

Please see the 'Copyright and Use' section of the Terms of Service for further indications on sharing the artwork.

Payment

Payments are done exclusively in Euros, 100% upfront, and through PayPal invoice.
I will not accept payment via Ko-Fi or other payment platforms.

All commissions will begin after I received the upfront payment via Paypal. I will not do commissions for free, no matter the difficulty of said artwork.

Paypal invoice process:

Once we are done discussing the artwork idea and agreeing on the price, I will send you an email containing a link to a Paypal invoice. The invoice should contain a detail of the pricing and automatically set to Euros (€).

If you notice a disagreement or anomaly in the contract, do not fill the invoice and contact me directly.

Unless we specifically work out a payment plan, the payment must be completed within 2 days of you receiving the Paypal invoice. If it isn't, I will consider the contract repealed and the slot will be open for someone else to claim.

If you're unable to pay now:

As stated prior in 'Commission process', if you are currently unable to pay at the moment but will be shortly, we can plan a specific way around like booking a slot for you later.
However, if past that date I do not hear from you or you are still unable to pay, that plan will be canceled for me to open the slot for another customer.

Refunds:

Refunds are not authorized under any circumstance past the upfront payment until the finished product. Refunding past the finished product being delivered will result in legal actions.

Copyrights and use

As a commissioner, this includes publishing, making merchandise of, and mass printing the artwork or alterations of it for profit. This applies to sharing the work on a profit or membership based website such as Patreon or OnlyFans.

Sharing the artwork:

Sharing the artwork in the form of a post or icons and banners is authorized in the limits that it contains a credit link to the original creator (in this case, the artist). Alterations of the artwork must still follows the terms stated here.
Claiming the artwork as yours will result in legal actions if you do not cooperate.

As the artist, I may share the artwork on my personal accounts while including a watermark to avoid theft over the artwork. However, I keep the rights to include it in my personal portfolio for job applications.

Further commercial use:

The commissioned work can not be used in commercial or non-commercial projects/organisations. This includes using the art for promotional purposes, using it as a game asset of any sort, your professional portfolio or illustrating projects destined for publishing (etc.)

For published projects contracts, I am not currently in a position to accept freelance jobs.
